IPRC works with many contractors on a regular basis throughout the year. We have found that certain contractors have been able to maintain a level of professionalism that we feel merits recognition. While no one contractor/applicator is perfect (and we seem to find deficiencies on most jobs), it is how well the management staff deal with the deficiencies and get them corrected that impresses us. Our list of contractors will be constantly reviewed and edited as we find contractors worthy of being on the list, or no longer worthy due to poor performance.

In order to keep a position on our list, each contractor/applicator must:

1. Maintain a continuous working relationship with IPRC throughout the year (preferably steady work flow so we can continually assess performance – Interior, Island, and Northern contractors are somewhat exempt from this requirement due to regional proximity)
2. Maintain a high level of communications with IPRC on a daily basis when a project is under way
3. Having sufficient certified journeyman roofers on staff and on site on our projects
4. Have dedicated supervisory personnel to oversee projects and manage their workers
5. Have more than enough equipment on hand to tackle any project size or scope
6. Have been in business for more than 10 years
7. Be an RCABC member contractor in good standing
8. Be fully versed on the latest RCABC roofing standards and material manufacturer requirements
9. Maintain a permanent office at one (minimum) location with dedicated administration staff
10. Have no unresolved complaints or issues that we are aware of
